Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 1/4 cup pomegranate molasses
- 1 lb pizza dough
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the onion and garlic until the beef is browned.
- Add the tomato paste, allspice, cinnamon, pine nuts, and pomegranate molasses to the skillet. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/8-inch thickness and cut into 4-inch circles.
- Place a spoonful of the meat mixture in the center of each dough circle.
- Fold the edges of the dough over the filling to create a small pie shape, pinching the seams to seal the filling inside.
- Arrange the pies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the dough is golden brown.
- Let the Sfeeha cool slightly before serving.
