Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic, sugar, and black pepper.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, stirring well to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the marinated beef to the wok, spreading it out in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for 2 minutes, then shake the wok vigorously or stir, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes until browned on all sides.
  5. Remove the beef from the wok and set aside on a plate.
  6. In the same wok, add the lime juice and mixed salad greens. Toss quickly over high heat for about 30 seconds until slightly wilted.
  7. Return the beef to the wok, combining it with the greens.
  8. Transfer to a serving dish and serve hot with steamed rice.
