Ingredients

  • 12 medium-sized mushrooms, stems removed
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, chives, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well blended.
  3. Fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, making sure to mound it slightly over the top of the mushrooms.
  4. Place the filled mushroom caps in a 9" x 13" baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
