Ingredients
- 12 medium-sized mushrooms, stems removed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley, chives, garlic, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well blended.
- Fill each mushroom cap with the cream cheese mixture, making sure to mound it slightly over the top of the mushrooms.
- Place the filled mushroom caps in a 9" x 13" baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
