- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 tbsp vegetable oil

- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp yeast
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix warm water, vegetable oil, sesame oil, sugar, and yeast until the yeast is dissolved.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and knead until a smooth dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rest for 1 hour in a warm place.
- After resting, roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 5 inches long.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Gently stretch each strip slightly and fry them in the hot oil until golden brown and puffed, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove the youtiao from the oil and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
