Ingredients

  • 1 lb assorted seafood (shrimp, squid, mussels)
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Thai basil leaves
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat 2 Tbsp of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add minced garlic to the hot oil and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Introduce the assorted seafood to the wok and stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes until almost cooked through.
  4. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper to the seafood. Stir well to combine the flavors.
  5. Toss in the Thai basil leaves and add water. Stir continuously and cook for another minute until the seafood is fully cooked and the basil leaves are wilted.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy hot, paired with steamed jasmine rice.
